This wonderful, extremely scarce, vintage, glass eyed, 1 3/4 inches in wooden body length \"Kent Frog Fishing Lure\" was made by the Pflueger Bait Company of Akron, Ohio. The circa is 1907. It is the first Kent frog lure made after the circa 1904 Friend frog lure, and was made for one year only,thus it\'s scarcity. It has the wire thru hook hanger hardware with the unique detachable hooks. These neat detachable hooks are unique to this period Kent frog only. The front prop is marked with the early Pflueger Diamond P trade mark and also with the letter R. The rear prop is also marked with the early Pflueger Diamond P trade mark. The condition is with moderate in use ware, with some hook pointers and paint chipping at wire forms to body, and also at rear tail hook. An about impossible 107 year old fishing artifact to find at all in any condition. I have put a very fair low reserve offer on this item to protect the consignors investment.
