This is HARDYS 3 1/4 inch GREEN PRINCES made between 1951-1953 during that time HARDY offerd the princess in 3 inch, 3 1/4, and 3 1/2. After 1953 HARDY only offerd the princess in there signature grey 3 1/2 inch. This little reel is in excellent working condition with a faded green patina but a darker green inside and the signature green handle, unfiled brass ribbedreel foot and brass fittings and tension screw. A great little reel that should be showed off fishing as well as enjoyed. This is a crowning jewl of any collection andshould be appreciated especially since HARDY has moved everything to japan and closed the museum making these and other limited pieces priceless and a worthy investment.
