Early 1940-50\'s CHESS SET by Wm. F. DRUEKE Grand Rapids MISize of King: 3 1/8\"Here are roughly two sets of wooden chess pieces by Drueke (world\'s oldest mfg\'r of chess sets). There are two sets here but neither is complete; several pieces are missing in each set but these sets are nearly identical (one being very slightly shorter than the other). Clearly, the larger set was the original but when several pieces of this set were lost the second set was purchased to add pieces to the first. Thus we have one complete set with a few pieces on each side slightly shorter (but same identical style) and a large number of extra pieces. See the pictures for an idea of the sizes, quantities, etc. Overall condition is good, with some minor signs of wear but well made as all of Drueke\'s things were and still are today.Buyer pays \'s estimated shipping plus $3.00 ($4.00 for outside continental US) for professional packing/materials. I will refund any shipping costs paid that exceed the actual shipping cost plus handling. And I will combine items IF PRACTICAL to help buyer of multiple items save shipping.
