Lovely early 1950s Madonna figurine from M.I. Hummel (Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel) with the Full Bee mark. No chips or cracks, but there is an under-glaze firing flaw on the top of the head that is shown in the pictures. She is 12 1/2\" tall. The glaze on these earlier pieces is much more subtle than the later editions and she has a different head tilt. This is 45/1 without the halo.

Shipping: The calculated shipping fee in my listings isgenerated from the on-line shipping calculator using U.S. Postal Service(USPS) rates for delivery and insurance (unless a USPS Flat Rate box is usedand then the U.S. Postal rate for that service applies to everyone). I have no control over these rates, and theyare generated solely by the weight of the package which I input into the listing. I really care about mybusiness, and I love vintage antiques and collectibles, so I care very muchthat all my items arrive safely for your enjoyment. I weigh each item after protectivelywrapping it to the degree I believe is necessaryfor it to arrive at your door safely, and that is the weight used to calculateyour shipping charges. For U.S. domesticshipments I ship packages under 13 ounces using USPS 1st Class mailas this is usually the best value for you.Packages over 13 oz. must be sent via alternative USPS services, andusually Priority Mail is the fastest and most economical way to do this, and forsome items, the Flat Rate boxes are best, but I always try to use the mosteconomical service that will safely get your purchase to you. I will ship NextBusiness day, (within one full next business day after receipt of clearedpayment), and I do not charge any additional handling fee on domestic shipments. Your shipping and handling charges consistonly of actual USPS services, (based on the weight of your package), including insuranceand delivery confirmation. On average, anddepending on the service used, delivery will be between 2-8 days fromthe time you are notified that your package has been processed ( sends youthis notice). Pleasedon\'t rate my performance based on how long it takes the post office to deliveryour package. Please note that that postal rates are based on weightcategories and only the highest weight limit in each category appears on yourpostage label (it doesn\'t mean that is exactly what your package weighed, onlythat the weight of your package fell within this category). For example, if your package weighed 2lb 2oz,your label would show 3 lbs because one USPS rate covers everything over 2lbsbut under 3lbs.

International Shipping: I offerInternational shipping to many locations and international packages will besent either USPS Priority International or 1st Class Internationaldepending on a combination of factors including size, weight, and value. Delivery estimates for international packagesvary greatly depending on location. Importduties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shippingcharges. These charges are the buyer\'sresponsibility. Please check with yourcountry\'s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be priorto buying or offerding. In accordance withU.S. and International Governmental regulations, all shipments will be shown assales of merchandise, and all values will be stated at their actual sales value. In no event will Seller ever be responsible for reimbursingBuyer for any such import duties, taxes or other customs charges even if theitem is later returned, and regardless of the reason for any such return.

Returns: If notified within thirty (30) days ofthe day your item is delivered to you, I will provide a full refund upon thesafe return of the item to me in accordance with the following:

1)in the event there is a gross inaccuracy in the listing, the refund willinclude a refund of the originalshipping charges, and I will pay for the return shipping to me (if I requestthe item back);

2)for all other returns (excluding itemsdamaged in transit that are subject to insurance claims) the refund willconsist of the price paid for the item only, and you will be liable for thecost of the return shipping to me. I tryvery hard to accurately describe all items I offer for sale, and dealpredominantly in antique and vintage items from estate sales which are normallysold as-is and with no return policy of any kind; however, in accordance withthe best selling practices of this site, I do accept returns, but can\'t absorbthe out of pocket cost of shipping when a return is due to buyer remorse or anyreason other than a gross inaccuracy in my listing information;

3)all items returned to me must be unused by you and returned to me in theiroriginal condition, and be returned in their original packaging and protection,or using packaging and protection of at least the same quality as that whichwas used to ship the item to you.Refunds will be made once I have received the item in satisfactorycondition, and in accordance with the terms of the policies stated herein;

4)while it is uncommon for insurance claims to be filed, damage can occur intransit, so in the rare instance where an insurance claim is required, there ispaperwork to be completed by both buyer and seller. By offerding on thisitem you agree to comply with the completion of any paperwork necessary to fileand process an insurance claim if the situation arises. If you receive an item damaged in transityour refund will include shipping charges and I will pay return shipping if Irequest the item back;

5)regarding any refund claim asserting gross inaccuracy regarding the listing, ordamage to the item, you agree to provide clear pictures to me of damageasserted in any refund claim.
