Early 19th Century French Game LOTTO DAUPHIN Rare Museum Piece :
$250.00

The dolphin lotto invented in 1775 by the Vaugeois tabletier was the game par excellence of families of the aristocracy, and it was practiced until the early twentieth century before falling into oblivion. It is a more complicated game than the classic lotto, and it requires more material.
The game comes with over 100 pieces including tiles, pegs, dolphins, etc. The box itself is mahogany with large dovetails. It comes with the original instructions(french).
Priced to sell. I have seen similar versions sell for well over 500. The pieces alone are worth this low price.
