This large format piece, featuring a short verse, is surrounded
by a variety of floral and bird motifs, and is signed and dated.
Central motif features six birds, two baskets, a swan, and roses,
all enclosed by strawberry borders on each side.
Embroidery is done in hem, cross, and honeycomb stitches.

There are two very large repairs (not so discreetly done)
and four smaller subtle repairs.
Thread colors are clear with fading appropriate to age.
