Listed here is a lovely Ornately carved French RococoRevival Set, dated: Early 20th Century. Consisting of Settee Canapéand pair of fauteuils chairs. Emphasis on curves and rounded profiles; byelaborately carved gilded ornamentation consisting of S-and C-scrolls,naturalistic motifs featuring foliage and flowers. High relief pierce crestcontinuing down to open arms scrolls, supported cabriole legs and terminatingwith scroll feet. Truly one of kind, noother sets like it, original 24 K water gilding the best finish ever. Recently upholsteredin natural easy care cotton muslin fabric because the original upholstery wasold and not presentable this should be redone in luxuriant fabric for seatingbecause of the exquisite frames.

Condition * The gilding is phenomenal24K water gilding, does shows some minor losses to tips of some carving, notnoticeable (view all photos) worn at the base of the feet, reveals some of thereddish bole underneath the gilt.
