The small beads are nearly all intact. The belt is made of joined braided ropes on to which is attached a band of cloth with beautiful beaded geometric designs. The beads are quite old in design and have muted colours. The inside of the belt has a striped cotton lining, as from a sheet or shirt. The material has frayed in parts through wear. The belt is attached by running the braided rope through an eyelet and tying it in a knot.Size: 6 x 107cm (2 3/8 x 42 inches)
