Here we haveaquite delightfuland very early salver ofgood gauge and and clear and to base near rim.

A very special and eye catchingmid 18th century piece indeed.

Fully hallmarkedfor London,1754-year letter t.

It has a maker's mark for DS-Dorothy Sarbitt (formerly Dorothy Mills,widow of Hugh Mills).

This medium salver has an attractive pie crest border and sits on threehoofed feet.

A really delightful and scarce early object.

Thediameteris ofa good size at6.375 inches and theheight1.125 inches.

Thislovelyitem isofexceptional quality andis a mostdelightfulpiece ofantiquelateGeorge IItable silver.

good213 grams (6.85 troy ounces),this piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.

All this cracking salverneeds is to be used!

The conditionisterrific and it is highly unusual to find a piece this old in such tremendous condition.
