This is a very early design on a simple Hopi bowl ,it has 3 bands on top ,and two repeated simlar rings around the body.The pot measures 4\" inches highX 3\"&3/4\" inches wide at the mouth tapering down to the bottom.This type of bowl was many times filled with sacred ground corn and put in the home as a offering to feed the spirits.This bowl is unsigned and looks to me to be a personal use piece.Typical of pre-war Hopi bowls.There is only one small area a painted that looks like has wearThe bowl has no chips,cracks or repairs. Pretty good for a 70 plus yr old Hopi bowl.
