EARLY PRIMITIVE WOOD FRENCH BAGUETTE BREAD BOARD TRAY

This is a nice old wooden French baguette bread board or tray used to proof bread in a French bakery.

The wood has a nice grain with great character. The wood has dark spots from the type of use it had, showing where the bread sat. It has a nice knot on one end. There is a crack in the side,but still very tight.

Lots of character!

It has been cleaned and has a beautiful handrubbed waxed patina.

This board measures approx 43\" long X 3-1/2\" wide.

A really great early original authentic piece to add to your collection or decor.

Great to fill with seasonal decor or use as a serving piece for cheese and crackers, veggies or cookies and candy.
