Made by the Walter T Kelley Co of Paducah Kentucky and stencil marked on both ends. This company started in 1924 and I suspect this bee box to be one of the earliest they made. Untouched original condition. Probably had a top lid or cover? One narrow strip of wood that holds the original screen mesh has a vertical chunk broken away. There are two original nails that are exposed as they were nailed to close too the edge when the box was built. Certainly an unusual find for the collector of apiarist and bee keeping. Approx. 11 3/4 by 6 by 8 3/4 inches high.
