Charming, 20\" long, \"pre Greiner\", antique papiermache shoulderhead doll with sweet expression and charming, darkglass eyes. More than one hundred years old, she is inoriginal restored condition with antique clothing as shown.See more informationas fully described on pages 177-178, \"Wonderful Dolls of Papier Machè\"-Gerken. Circa 1850s and either German or American made, she has ten long, black molded curls all around her head with center part and her well textured hair combed away from her face exposing her ears with deep comb marks. She has lovely black glass eyes with finely painted upper and lower eyelashes with delicately molded upper and lower eyelids. Her commercially made body is leather withslender waist with white linen twill legs below her knees andbisque lower arms (which were probably replacedsome time ago). She has dark hair with exposed ears with checking (paint crazing)as shown. Lips and nostrils still have good pink color. No attempt has been made to clean or refresh her appearance and we\'ll leave that to her new owner. Her sawduststuffed, leather and cloth body is in very good condition with no splits or tears and no holes. She wears herantique cotton pantaloons andknit stockings. Please note: nearly all of our items are antique or vintage (usually with some signs ofwear due to usage and previous storage).
