Absolutely incredible, beyond ornate, detailed Edwardian evening gown. This jaw dropping number exudes elegance!! It is the typical hourglass shape of the 1900\'s and dates to 1907-1910. There are endless details consisting of silk, silk velvet, tassels, lace, embroidery, flowers, buttons, etc!!! Then we haven\'t even covered the inside! The inside of the bodice has all of the colors behind the suffragette movement, purple, green, and white! We could possibly theorize that the woman who wore the dress could have been apart of it!

This dress belonged to the Neathery family, who was a prominent family in Farmersville, Texas. Dozens of articles of clothing dating to the 1930\'s and mostly prior were discovered in their original trunks left in local buildings for decades, untouched. You can find out more info on the family at this link:[link removed by ].

Take a look for yourself at this piece that looks straight out of a museum.

There is some wear to the exterior silk, but the real issue is the silk lining shattering on the inside. This can be removed and replaced, so not a complete serious problem. Also, a little tearing to some parts of the lace (very minimal). Due to \'s limit, I could only upload 12 photos. Please message me if you would like any additional.
