This is a magnificent estate jewel!!! Absolutely the finest quality. The beautiful pencil pendant is in 14K rose gold with the most beautiful warm patina. There is a wonderful rose cut diamond medallion on the front. The pendant opens and closes securely and has its original Faber pencil. The piece is hallmarked with the makers mark of F/J in a shield. The jewel dates to the Edwardian - Belle Epoque period c1860-1920.The jewel comes from a prominent New York city estate.The pendant is in superb period condition. There is a tiny indentation about 1/2 way up on the front - this is really not noticeable at all but I wanted to mention it. The diamonds are all in excellent condition with no visible damage. The piece is 90 mm (3 1/2 inches) long including the top loop and 10 mm wide. It is hallmarked 14K. The pendant weighs 9.5 grams.This is a stunning antique jewel with great drama and style. The combination of the extraordinary gold work and beautiful antique diamonds is mesmerizing. Together they create a jewel worthy of the finest collection.
