For your Egyptian Coin A beautiful nicely toned very fine or better 1923 (1341 AH) two Egyptian Piaster silver coin. The coin depicts the bust of King Fouad or Fuad the first, wearing a fez, facing right. The coin has a nice gray tone, with some wear to the facial details of the king and to the details of the reverse. The coin has the words Fouad the First King of Egypt on the obverse and is labeled (al-Mamlakah al-Mesryah) Kingdom of Egypt, in beautiful Arabic calligraphy, within a circle and shows the denomination and date in both AD and AH on the reverse. It is KM-335, weighs 2.8 grams of 0.833 silver, and is ~19 mm in diameter. The coin has the mint mark \"H\" on the bottom of the reverse. Please carefully view the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

  • Condition: I would grade this coin as a very fine or better with all the details being well preserved. The coin has a stain on the king\'s face on the obverse, some wear to the facial details in the high points. The reverse shows all the details and is nicely toned. The coin is much better than the scan or the photos suggest. The coin has some minor scratches, bag marks, and a few stains or encrusted soil. Be that as it may, the coin has very nice eye appeal.
