Presentedis a beautiful solid silver tray with hallmarks for silver made in Egypt for 900fine silver. American Standard Sterlingsilver is 925, so there is slightly less silver in this alloy. It has a gentlysloping gadroon edge or rim with a fantastically detailed figural imagry on theinterior of the tray or serving dish. It is a beautiful piece with nodent or dings only fine scratches from gentle use and care and has a great engraved dedication on the back of Marian Roby Case from Vincenzo Ruocco Assuan 1931.Itis a great and useful piece for the silver collector.
