Both her letter and a rare photograph have been framed, matted, and sealed in plastic wrap for you.Eleanor\'s letter was addressed to my uncle Sam Polur following her nationwide travels as a spokesperson for the \"bonds for Israel effort\" starting around the year, 1951. When she visited \"Akron Ohio in 1954\", my uncle wrote her a very heartfelt letter, thanking her for all her efforts to raise money for Israel. She replied to him most graciously. A group photo opportunity was also taken with Eleanor posing between myfamily members(Her individual image is now enhanced and displayed in the frame along with her letter).Eleanor Roosevelt was a dynamic human rights activist for over a decade! She used her influence to advance the cause of Women, African Americans, Jews,and other minorities during the 50\'s and 60\'s.She was reportedly one of the first individuals to buy, and then go on to promote \"monetary bonds\" for the fledgling nation of Israeli starting around the year, 1951.
