From Weller Pottery\'s highly desirable Sicard or Sicardometallic luster line by Jacques Sicard, circa 1905, this very shapely vase measures approx. 9\"H x 2\"D at rim. The intricate, organic design of a vine(?) covers all sides; because of the unique textured and metallic finish, each view as you turn the vase is different in hue and design, very rainbow-like. In the day, Sicard\'s vases were sold at high-end retailers such as Tiffany\'s and Wanamaker\'s. There are no chips, cracks, repairs. Delicate age crazing, a few insignificant surface scratches and tiny firing pops usually seen in his pots.Almost all of his pieces were signed with his name on the pot near the bottom, but I do not see it. There is an impressed mark on bottom. Happy to provide additional close-up photos upon timely email request.
