Elegant Vintage French3 Light Empire Chandelier in Bronze

An extremelystylish vintage bronze chandelier with beautiful neo classic detailing, marked as \"veritable bronze\" denoting best quality.

Thetiered ceilingrose has a scalloped design at the centre and surrounding that rich embossed swathes of feathers. Below this the suspension post has an ornate hook at thebase to which the chain is attached and this is made up ofoval fancylinks.

Another larger hook with plumed detailing on either side sits at the top of the central column. Theelegant central column in typical empire styleis urn shaped andplain except for two intricate appliques of feathers at the top and bottom. A bronze pedestal below this sits on the raised top of the main body of the chandelier.

From here extend the three arms, each lush with plumage along the length and enhanced with gorgeous empire capitals.Thecandle cups pick up on the design features seen elsewhere on the chandelier, giving a lovely symmetry,and all are complete with faux candle sleeves.

The base of the chandelier has a matching design to the candle cups, with the addition of a large bronze acorn finialto complete the light.

In excellent vintage condition and with a warm golden patina this most elegant of lights with its lovely period features would be a great addition to either a period or contemporary cms

The height can easily be adjusted by removing chain links.

It takes3 small screw in bulbs (not included)

Wired and fully functional, however, as with all vintage lighting it should be checked and installed by a qualified electrician.
