Up for sale is an estate,Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. 14k yellow gold pocket watch. This size 16 pocket watch features a white dial with black Roman hour markers and blue hands. The second sub-dial features the same blue hand but with Arabic time markers. The dial and movement are enclosed in a 14k yellow gold hunting style case that has engraved detailing around the border on the front and back. The case is marked “35959” on the front and “Warrented 14k, S.Assay, 35959” on the back. The movement has the serial number 14838664 which indicates that this watch was manufactured circa 1883.
