HAND SIGNED ON: Paramount Pictures King Creole 1958 movie prop. This is the nightclub promo die cut standup for \'Forty Nina\'. This magnificent piece of Elvis historical memorabilia was signed for a Paramount Pictures cast member who worked on the film. This Elvis signature is one of his earliest signatures signed in 1958 when he was only 23 years old. Therefore it is a very young Elvis signature.
PROVENANCE: We obtained this amazing item from the original owner about 25 years ago. See attached photo from the movie King Creole which shows the die cut promo standup on the bar’s right side during the long shot from the stage of the nightclub during Elvis’ singing number \'Hard Headed Woman\'.

MOVIE INFORMATION: KING CREOLE is a 1958 American musical drama film directed by Michael Curtiz & starring Elvis Presley, Carolyn Jones, Walter Matthau, Liliane Montevecchi, Jan Shepard & Paul Stewart. Produced by Hal B. Wallis, the film is about a nineteen year old who gets mixed up with crooks & involved with two women. Presley later indicated that of all the characters he portrayed throughout his acting career, the role of Danny Fisher in King Creole was his favorite. The film was released by Paramount Pictures on July 2, 1958, to both critical & commercial success. The critics were unanimous in their praise of Presley\'s performance. King Creole peaked at number five on the Variety box office earnings charts. The soundtrack song \'Hard Headed Woman\' reached number one on the Billboard pop singles chart, number two on the R&B chart & was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), while the soundtrack album peaked at number two on the Billboard album chart.
