Elvis was a laborof love using my dummy-making process - only better,

He can turnat the waist and swivel his hips ..... if he’sinclined to do so!

The head can tilt up, down, and turned sideways.

Deeis one of the fewAmericancustom Dummy makers, andElvis by far, has required the greatest amount of time and labor!

His Body is well madeheld together with 20 Gauge wires throughout.No worries -You can turn his arms and legs into same positions as the human body.Elvis has flesh colored arms and chest. *Usecreativityto pose Elvis in position with needle & thread, rubber bands or wire.

It’s a rare thing to see a dummy withoutclothes onother sellers dummies, which causes me to wonder what the actual body looks?It’s for this reason Elvis is displayed undressed.

HANDS -Prop rubber hands that i altered and put wires inside to give fingers some flexibility, thenpainted.

CHEST -The chest was a labor of love, creating and finishing with air-brush andmini-wax. The problem was adhering hair to his chest.

His Head started with a vinyl mask. Then a long meticulousprocess affixing the mask to a Styrofoam head which I embedded eyes. Hollowed out the head tosecure a bungee cord inside that attaches to the body. Lastly, created a neck and sculptedthe head into shape with papier-mâché and wood filler. Eventually adding hairfrom several wigs and styled his do☺

JUMPSUIT -The jump suit and capewere made usingseveral Tuxedo Jacket’sand a beautiful suede-feel Dashikithat was embellished with sequins and tear-drop pearls, so was thecumber bum.

Iflunked sewing classback in the 1960’s, and tried tocopy outfitsfrom Photos ofElvisinconcert.It’s lined with black satin inside, but is costume quality and not recommended for someone towear to a local disco ♪♪♫♪♫♪.…..however, if you do: please send me a photo!☺

CAPE -Mostof the Dashiki wasusedon the outside ofthe cape, and theTuxedo jacket’slining was usedfor the inside of the cape - see photo.The cape is made to fit Elvis and held on with Velcro at the neck. It’s a bit bulky, but a seamstress or tailor should be able to alter it into abetter fitting elegant cape!The cumber bum was enhanced and embellished.
