Antique 1925 Berlin Germany Embroidery Fabric Sample,Marked, Stamped, Dated

This is a wonderful Antique1925 Berlin GermanyEmbroidery Fabric Sample. The dark brown fabric features a pair of geometricpatterns embroidered in blue, tan, brown, maroon, and green thread. There are 2 markers attached tocorners of the fabric. One is a cardboard marker with attached with a metal pinback. The marker is stamped “CT 8 192”. The second marker is a 1-7/8 inch cardboard squarestamped “OCT 8 1925” and with a wax sealthat reads “Berlin Nr.1” and with a bird symbolabove it. The fabric measures approximately 19-1/4 inches by 30-1/2 inches and theembroidery areas each measure approximately 8-1/2 by 13 inches. Thebacking fabric has a few small holes in it near the edge. Other than the smallholes this German embroidery sample is in very good antique condition. (Seephotos)
