Offered for sale is a vintage Empire Sterling Silver Candlestick / Candle Holder with an etched Hurricane Globe. It measures 9-1/4\" tall, the Sterling base is 3-1/4\" high: the bottom is marked \"Empire Sterling, Weighted, 390\". It is in overall good condition, there is the beginnings of a wrinkle (the result of an overzealous polisher turning too hard while polishing), a dark dot on thecenter neck of the silver just below the cut-outedge and thebottom edges have several tiny dings (not obvious) with one a littlebigger; being on the rim edge that sits flat on thetable these are quite subtle; this still makes a verynice presentation.
