Beautiful vintage piece!

This is lovely vintage 20s 1920s Art Deco ladies finger ring face powder hand compact that has a fantastic machine tooled or chased or embossed design with pretty blocks of enameled forget me not flowers or florals. The front has a maltese cross like pattern on half the design with the other two radiants having noveau like scrollwork decorations. The center has an emblem which one could engrave with initials or monogram for a loved one. None exists in this piece. The edge or border is also decorated. There are then four panel that have a sky blue enamel background with sweet little red and yellow forget me not flower with green leaves. The backside has a radiating circular design with the same edge or border as the front side. The finger ring is also decorated with a twisted rope design. Hairpin style chain.

The inside retains the powder puff. There is a raised prong by which one turns the compact for the large opening for filling the powder or turning to the multi hole opening for applying the loose powder to the face.

Perfect piece to use as a pendant by hanging from a long chain! or use as a vanity or display piece to add to your compact collectibles!

Very Beautiful piece! with minor signs of wear - teeny tiny amount of enamel loss seen through loupe, small amount of surface wear and some flaking of silvertone finish inside near hinge. nice condition as shown with only slight or minor surface wear to the silvertone finish. Closes and opens perfectly.

Measures 4 3/4 inches end to end. Compact measures approximately 2 1/8 inches in diameter.

I believe this compact to be by the Evans Case Company but I can find no hallmark.
