Starting at 99 cents this Prayer Lady Cookie Jarwill sell to the highest buyer!! You are offerding on an Enesco, Pink, Prayer Lady, Cookie Jar and Cover or Lid, which is quite rare!Thisvery delicate Cookie Jar is from a set of kitchen ware produced in the 1950s and 1960s also known as "Mother in the Kitchen". She measures a commanding 10” tall with thecover and has the original Foil Enesco sticker stamp on the base (please see image).This Cookie Jar is in near-Mint condition, with no nicks, chips or cracks on the base, including the apron, the inner rim,andthe inner/outer rim of the cover.The only area that I can find with any minimal "roughness" is actually her nose! (of all places) which is a bit rough to the touch (essentially a glaze issue). It is toosmall for a picture (I did try) and measures less than 1 mm (please use the magnifier for her nose in images 1, 2 and 3,which look essentially perfect). But I am trying to be thorough in my description so there are no surprises for the buyer. Somewould call this piece "near-perfect" and some would call it "perfect".This Cookie Jar is from a collection of Pink Prayer Lady items which we are selling at this time, including the uncommon Teapot and Lid, plus a large lot which includes the napkin holder, spoon holder, soap holder and toothpick holder (please see the final picture; note this sale is for the Cookie Jar and Cover only).As I am sure you know, this Cookie Jar isextremeley difficult to find and rarely comes up for sale.Simply a beautiful Cookie Jar to add to your Prayer Lady collection, your Cookie Jar collection,or simplytohave on display or for use.
