Description
A very elegant English Mahogany Sarcophagus shaped Tea Caddy, the edges outlined with Boxwood and Ebony. The front with intricate chequer inlays. The original Gilded Metal escutcheon to the front and an Original gilded metal ring handle to the top. The interior with three lidded compartments which have turned bone finials. The caddy stands on its original Brass ball feet. Paper lining to the interior.
Untouched finish.Circa 1820 to 1830.

Width. 11.5\". Depth. 5.5\". Height. 6\".
Condition
