For your consideration, a very old and early Staffordshire creamware plate made at Lane Delph by John Heath around 1800. It is beautifully painted in a design inspired by the Japanese and Chinese exports of the time. The pattern is known as \"Long Eliza\" as the lady is so much taller than her surroundings. It measures 9.75\" in diameter.Impressed mark \"Heath\" on reverse as shown.It is in excellent condition with only very minor signs of use and age.
