We are pleased to offer this fine Victorian sterling fruit basket. William Davenport 1899.

In shaped rectangular.

Raised shell corners united by leaf and vine and partial shell. Fluted sides. Cascading floral streams united by pierced leaf and panel. Followed by leaf and floral on partial satin. Twin shell and pearl cap twin twisted rope handle.

Never monogrammed.

This Victorian sterling fruit basket 11 3/4 inches and 8 tall and 15 1/2 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

Fine condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. The pierced work free of splits. The shell and floral retain original detail. The interior center with fine lines from use, none of these are deep, and none can be felt by hand.
