A monumental George IV sterling silver tea kettle on stand.

Formerly collection Ms. Iris Hall McEwen - McCrary, Burlington, North Carolina.


Selling 40 year collection of British 18th and 19th century silver.


William Eaton 1826-1827. Listed only from 1823 to 1828.

Ovoid with bat\'s wing fluting. Center framed shield.

Cast leaf framed shell and petal rim.

Original melon fluted natural substance finial.

Leaf and berry cap acanthus mount spout.

Atop matching hallmarked floral medallion,Atop rolled vine cap banded ankle lioin paw and claw feet.

English tea kettle & stand 13 1/2 inches and 59 1/2 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

In very fine condition. Interior of teapot clean as if little used. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. Stands firm on table. Retains both chained securing pins and original burner, hallmarked.
