The rim comprised of a series of beautifully fashioned Bacchus heads. The God of wine with fiendish grin, and grape and leaf crown.

United by kneeling cherub offering drink and grape to spread wing eagle. Tilted urn and leaf and floral all about.

The recessed center with swirling leaf and floral, and diamond framed medallion.

Atop equally striking vine framed grape and lea center layered shell tip feet.

Never monogrammed.

This monumental salver is 24 inches and weighs 218 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina. The Bacchus heads, cherub with eagle and floral retain their crisp detail. Stands perfectly even on shelf. Mild wear.
