Published by John Gifford, undated, presume first edition 1953 (all points match according to Tony Summerfield\'s Blyton Bibliography Part 3 page 6); pictorial boards, blue cloth spine with title in gold, matching dust jacket; eight colour plates by Hilda Boswell; illustrated blue endpapers; many pictures by various illustrators (see list below)in two colours:- black and blue-red-yellow-or-green; 25 stories, 3 picture strips, 10 poems and non-fiction.
Book condition: CC*; gift inscription dated 1954 on verso of ffep; endpapers a little grubby; no apparent writing or scribbling; a lovely old copy. - very collectable
