Here is a really cute vintage wooden wood Erzgebirge Germany Christmas or anytime ornament. It depicts a trio of hand painted little birds, two resting at the bottom, and the third one is sitting on a bird house or feeder. The scene is inside of a shaved wood hoop. The birds are tiny, but so detailed-they are about 3/8\" tall, and the total ornament is about 2 5/8\" tall. It\'s in very good vintage condition with some minor paint loss & chips, color rubs, and imperfections in the wood from being a hand crafted item. \"1969\" was written on the bottom of the base by the previous owner. I received this with a very large lot of vintage wooden German ornaments from a seller in the Erzgebirge region of Germany. Not labelled or marked.
