This piece is from an estate. It is by German poet Frida Schanz (1859-1944). I have been unable to get a translation. She lived through both World Wars, and was the daughter of poets. It was framed in Hamburg, and there is writing on the back in German. The frame measures 10 1/2 inches by 14 1/2 inches. There is some foxing on the paper.
