Japanese KOKESHI Wooden Doll Girl 6\"H Artist Signed made in Japan No Box comes as you see it, stunning little girl......About Kokeshi:They are Japanese dolls, originally from Tohoku-northern Japan. They are handmadefrom wood which are Mizuki or Kaede in Japanese, suit for making dolls.
Kokeshi have a simple trunk and an enlarged head with a few thin, painted linesto define the face. The body has their special hand-painted design, and coveredwith a layer of wax.
One characteristic of Creative Kokeshi dolls is their lack of arms or legs, andis formed by the freeand unrestrained imagination of an individual artist.
Seen others with just different designs selling on for $65 check it out, but here quality adorable doll and help the estate at the same time....will be shipped insured!........Comes chip/rip and crack free, smoke free home.
