Superb cannetille beaded decoration define this magnificent piece. It is solid 14K rose gold. The reverse opens to reveal the compartment for a photo. The original Etruscan revival jewel dates to c1880. It is very special! This locket comes from a superb New York City estate. The locket is in superb condition. It is 46 mm (not including the top loop) by 28 mm. It tests for 14K gold. The locket weighs 14 grams.
