Excellent Antique Victorian Edwardian Black Red Figured Cotton Lace, Lined Cape:

Antique Victorian or Edwardian Era Black Brocade & Cotton Short Cape with Wide Black Lace Ruffle at neck and Grosgrain Ribbon ties. Red cotton lining.

Blacksoft brocade outer layer is figured with sprigs of flowers, black on black. Red lining is red or rusty red cotton.

Gorgeous, full-gathered 4 1/2\" laceruffle at neck beneath a 2 1/2\" double ruffle of black & red fabrics.

Cape is 15 3/4\" to 17\"long from neck to hem, tapering to the 17\" at back.

Excellent Condition! Only expected wear and slight fraying to long, black grosgrain ribbon ties at neck withthe tiniestbit of discoloration inside the neck. Otherwise, no damage. No odors. Afine piece with history! From a local estate.
