This lot comprises a fine CivilWar CDV of General Quincy Adams Gilmore. Gilmore served in a number ofpositions during the War, including command in South Carolina where he orderedthe assaults on Fort Wagner. These assaults were immortalized by the movie:”Glory”. Though the CDV lacks a backmark, it is a high quality CDVnonetheless.
