Wonderful 7 piece set of antique lace including runner, doilies and mats. I believe this to be handmade Cantu bobbin lace. Likely dates from the 1800\'s or early 1900\'s. (I could be wrong about this as I am not an expert in this area so use your own judgement)Nearly all of the pieces have yellowed or darkened with age and most have some light stains or spots, see photos, from storage over many years and would likely brighten up with proper laundering, but I will leave that up to you.Descriptions as follows:(1) Owl mat: 8\" square, slightly yellowed with time, otherwise excellent condition.(1) Rooster mat: 8\" square, some light discoloration due to age, otherwise excellent.(3) goose with spear mats: Measure approximately 11 3/4\" x 19 1/2\". Some storage spots/stains and light discoloration. No breaks that I could find. (1) Swans mat: 11 3/4\" x 19 1/2\", light discoloration due to storage/age, otherwise excellent.(1) Long runner with owl, pheasant, rooster, quail. 16 3/4\" x 45\". Light discoloration due to storage/age, otherwise excellent. Museum quality lace.
