This rare & beautiful decorated Antique mantel clock is made in Francearound 1840-1850.

Bronze figurine is representing religiousallegory holding The Bible (Biblia Sacra) and Large gilt bronze Cross.

Theclock has gilt bronze relief ornament with anchor mounted on dark patinated base.

Globedial carried by winged cupids is with Roman numerals signed Lecourt.

Movement is made by famous clock maker PONS.

Movement is in good working and recently servicedcondition chiming at 1/1 and 1/2 hours on a silvered bronze bell.

Key,bell and pendulum included.
