~Delightful Antique Quilt~

ANTIQUE c1890 PINWHEEL - WINDMILL quilt. This is a wonderful heirloom piece hand made of cotton prints dating to the 1890s. This lovely gem is hand pieced and hand quilted. The hand quilting is very nice, I love the fans along the wide border. The border print is fabulous and I love the green apple print in the pinwheels. This quilt is in real nice condition for its age there is a couple very faint storage marks (as shown). I have not laundered this quilt, I will leave that to the lucky buyer. There are no stains or holes and the binding is in very good condition for its age. Please enlarge photos for more detail.

This quilt along with several others came from the estate of woman who was a prolific quilter, collector and quilt appraiser.
