Exceptional Big Solid Silver Antique Persian Iranian Islamic Swan Bowl- Hallmark For Sale
A unique extraordinary antique Persian swan shaped bowl that is beautifully engraved with the most ornate Iranian silver work. The swan is finely chased with floral and geometric patterns. At the back of the swan, there is a scene of two women playing music. In addition, the neck is engraved with a women indulged in music. It is a rare find and uncommon among the Persian artwork. The swan has two Hallmarks. The first Hallmark represents the 84 Russian Imperial Silver Standard which corresponds to 875/1000 degree of silver purity, while the other Hallmark represents the silversmith maker in Farsi. The artwork of the swan bowl is outstanding!
