Exceptional Rare Edo 18th/19th Century Ko-Imari Bowl 8.5\" Uzufuku Red MarkingThis listing is for an exceptional rare Edo period late 18th/early 19th Century Ko-Imari Bowl with a phoenix motif and the rare Uzufuku red marking.The diameter is approximately 220mm (8.5\") and the height approximately 62mm (2.5\").Overall it is in good condition for age. There is a small chip to rim (approx 5mm x 3mm)with a 30mm hairline crack running from the chip and a further 22mm hairline crack from the rim on the opposite side of the bowl. Please see photographs for detailed condition.

Packaging - We will always try to package items for transit in the best way in order to prevent breakages; however, please bear in mind that although breakages in transit are thankfully very rare, it is impossible to fully \'courier-proof\' dispatched items.
Postage - We will always try to use Royal Mail if possible. If this is not possible, our preference is to use Collect+. We have found both services tend to treat articles marked \'fragile\' as such and very rarely lose, or damage, consignments. If Royal Mail or Collect+ are not possible because of the size or weight of the item, we will then use other couriers.
Combined Postage - Upon request we will always try to combine postage for multiple items and pass on any savings to the customer.
