Splendid Early 20th Century Good Grade Solid Silver Indian/Asian Box
Description -Superb antique c1915 Indian/Asian good thick gauge solid silver box of rectangular form with hinged lid and thumb piece the sides and lid have been beautifully embossed and hand chased with a scroll floral and leaf pattern. The box has no hallmarks but has been tested 900+ standard good grade solid silver.
Condition -The box is in very good condition, there are no dents, dinks, splits, holes or repairs. The embossed decoration is crisp and clear with no wear or rubbing, the hinge is nice and tight with nolooseness and closes the lid flush with the sides of the body.
Dimensions & Weight- The box is 9.5cm long x 3.7cm wide x 2.2cm deep, the weight is 91.3 grams.
