This wonderful doll was acquired in postwar Japan in the 1940\'s. It was likely made in
the 1920\'s or 1930\'s. It is of thehighest quality craftsmanship. The lacquer hat and silk
kimono are stunning. The doll measures 26\" without her platform. The doll is in
perfect condition with no damage or repairs. The bright spots that appear on
her black hat are reflections from lighting.
The case is wood and glass with windows at the front, sides and top so the doll can
be viewed from different angles. The front door of the case opens easily.
The case measures 31 1/2\" tall and 17 1/2\" wide. It is in excellent condition.
