Gorgeous wooden hand painted with mother of pearl inlays large sewing or jewelry ( also known as merchant\'s stile) box, circa 19 century. Labeled on the back in Russian, retailed by : Moscow Trading house A.I.Abrikosovu brothers. Decorated with flowers,bird, mother of pearl inlaid and geometrical painted motifs.Most likely made by Fedoskino makers.
