This exquisite vinaigrette was assayed in Birmingham in 1819 and made by the renowned silversmith, Joseph Taylor.
The condition is excellent throughout, with both hinges working perfectly, and the lid closing tightly. The gilding on both the intricate and beautifully engraved exterior and on the (slightly dirty) interior is still perfect, as is the attractive \'rope\' ring.Fully and clearly hallmarked, this would be an excellent addition to any collection.
The vinaigrette weighs 11.8g and measures 25 x 10mm
