Display is anExceptional pair of French Louis XVI gilded fauteuils open arm chairs, datedearly 20th Century, gorgeous canted oval shape upholstered backscontinuing with rounded profiles and curved shape with bow outward arms, andfirm padded round seat upholstered in vintage satin damask. Gilded WreathRibbon crest continuing with serpentine molding with scroll arms, raised byturned fluted legs. Original 24 K water gilding that has worn with time andreveals the reddish bole underneath, so desirable to acquire.
