Exquisite and Finest Quality Antique Persian Solid Silver Vase

Skillfully hand made Octagonal Vase, it features extremely intricate all over hand chased naturalistic scrolls and arabesques and a fine hand chased and cast rim.

It is stamped to the base with the makers signature and arabic numerals 84 indicating that it was made from the usual standard of 84% which is purer than most continental silver and similar to the Imperial Russian standard.

It is in very good condition.

Quite large, extremely tactile and beautifully proportioned, with a height of 117mm.

Made from a very thick gauge of solid silver it is very heavy at 161g or 5.7oz.
